What to Expect at Albuquerque International Sunport
When you fly through Albuquerque’s Sunport with your pet or service animal, be aware of the terminal regulations. The Sunport is a public airport, meaning that it’s subject to the service animal regulations of the City of Albuquerque.
Per the ABQ pet policy, all pets traveling through the Sunport need to be inside of their crates. While using pet relief areas, they must be on a leash. Service animals must be leashed at all times, but they do not need to be in secured containers. Leashes cannot exceed 8 feet.
