If you are making plans to travel through Sacramento with your four-legged friend, then you probably want to know the best way to travel through the airport to make your trip easier on your pet. These days, it is easier than it ever has been to bring your animal along with you on a trip, but it is still a good idea to know what to expect, especially from the Sacramento Airport pet relief areas. Being prepared can make all the difference when it comes to easing your mind and soothing your pup.

Sacramento Airport Pet Relief Areas and Terminal Maps

Sacramento Airport has four pet relief areas. Terminal A and Terminal B offer pre-and post-security pet relief areas. Each pre-security location is outdoors near passenger pick-up/drop-off. It might be unpleasant in the rain, but they should be near the entrance to the airport and well signed. There should also be plenty of lights in case you need to make use of the facilities at night. There should be bags for waste pick-up in the area. Both of these areas are surrounded by grass, so be sure to bring an extra bag in case your pet decides to go before you reach the designated area.

See the maps below for information on post-security pet relief areas in both terminals.

Terminal A – This pet relief area is right next to Gate A1.

Terminal B – This location is near Gate B11.
