There are two OMA pet relief areas. Both stations are located outside and in pre-security areas. While this is convenient for pet parents entering and exiting the airport, this can be very stressful for owners on layovers. To use these stations, you will need to exit the airport and re-enter through security. People with long layovers should not have much trouble with this, but it can pose a problem for those in a rush.

Nebraska’s Omaha Eppley Airfield gets hundreds of thousands of travelers passing through every year. These days, it’s very common for people to traveling with their dogs. Comfort is a top priority for pet lovers, and to assist with this, many airports have begun adding pet relief areas. While Omaha does not currently have an indoor relief station, we expect that they will need to build one in the coming years. For now, pet parents will need to budget additional time while traveling.

OMA Terminal Map and Pet Relief Areas

The two OMA pet relief areas are easy to locate. They are both designated with signs. One is on the north end of the Terminal building, while the other is on the south end of the same building. To access, simply exit the central terminal building and turn left or right. Signs will lead you to the correct areas.

What to Expect from an Omaha Pet Relief Station

There are no images available of the Omaha pet relief stations, which means it is difficult to know what to expect. However, it is safe to assume that these areas are covered in grass – either natural or artificial – and have waste receptacles. We cannot confirm whether waste baggies are provided, so we recommend bringing your own. The areas are well-lit and located curbside.

While the OMA pet relief areas are pre-security, they are still conveniently located. Pet parents will not have to walk more than a minute or two to locate them. Additionally, you won’t get lost on the way – signage is used heavily to guide pet owners pressed for time.
